Warm leads, not cold calls
Every person you talk to filled out a request for mortgage protection or life insurance information. They asked to be contacted. You're calling them back.
Kindred Life Group trains and equips licensed life insurance agents to build their own book of business remotely, on their own schedule, with a proven system behind them.
We sell mortgage protection and cash-value life insurance (IUL and whole life) to families who asked for information about it. That part matters more than anything else about the job.
Every person you talk to filled out a request for mortgage protection or life insurance information. They asked to be contacted. You're calling them back.
The full process, from first call to submitted application, happens over the phone or on video. There's no driving to kitchen tables and no territory. You can work from anywhere with a laptop and a phone.
Mortgage protection is simple and urgent. It protects the house. Cash-value life insurance leads to bigger conversations about retirement and tax strategy with those same families.
“This is you starting a business. This is entrepreneurship. It’s one of the lowest barrier-to-entry businesses you can get into, but make no mistake, it’s you starting a business. We give you the blueprint to financial freedom.”
You are a 1099 independent agent, paid by commission only. You own your book of business and you own your schedule. Nobody is going to manage you, and nobody is going to hand you a paycheck for showing up. What you build is yours, and so are your results.
Here's what "starting a business" means here:
Agents on our team and in our network typically earn anywhere from $10,000 to $40,000 per month, and some earn more. Where you land depends on your work ethic, your schedule, and how consistently you run the system.
Life insurance agents are paid a commission based on the annual premium of each policy they write. Your commission percentage is set by your contract level with each carrier. Here's an illustrative example of what a month of consistent mortgage protection work can look like:
Ten policies at those premiums, at a 100%+ contract level, puts a full-time agent in the range above before lead costs and chargebacks. Write more policies, larger policies, or add cash-value business and the number goes up. Write less and it goes down. Everyone gets the same system, and the results come down to what you do with it.
We'd rather lose a recruit than waste six months of your life. Be honest with yourself here.
Everything you need to be successful, already built and ready for you to plug into.
Contracts with multiple A-rated carriers at top contract levels, so you're paid well from your first policy.
Multiple lead sources for mortgage protection and life insurance requests, at multiple price points, so you're never dependent on one vendor.
Word-for-word scripts for mortgage protection and for whole life / financial conversations. Tested on thousands of calls.
Full CRM with automated text and email follow-up sequences done for you. Leads drop in, the follow-up starts, and you focus on conversations.
Daily team training plus direct one-on-one coaching from Sam. You'll listen to real calls, get your own calls reviewed, and fix what isn't working before it costs you a month.
When you're ready, a clear track to recruit and lead your own agents and earn overrides on their production. Optional, never required.
A 20-minute conversation with Sam. We'll be straight with you about whether this is a fit, and we expect the same in return.
We show you exactly how: the course, the exam, the application. Most people are licensed in about 2 to 4 weeks.
Get contracted with the carriers, get your CRM and lead accounts set up, and start training with the team.
You'll be ready to make your first calls within two weeks of getting licensed, with leads in the CRM, a script in hand, and a coach on standby.
Founder & Licensed Insurance Producer
Sam spent 14+ years building and running businesses before insurance, including pool service companies he grew from a truck and a route into real operations with employees and payroll. He knows what starting from zero feels like, and he knows how much time gets wasted when nobody hands you a system.
He created Kindred Life Group to give budding entrepreneurs the blueprint he wished he'd had: warm leads, real scripts, a CRM that does the follow-up, and someone in your corner every day. Kindred Life Group is the agency and recruiting arm of Kindred Legacy Life, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, with agents working remotely across multiple states.
Yes. You need a life insurance license in your home state to sell. If you don't have one, we'll walk you through the pre-licensing course, the exam, and the application. Most people finish in 2 to 4 weeks. Already licensed? You can move straight to contracting.
No. There is no fee to join Kindred Life Group. What you pay for is your own business: your state license and exam (typically a few hundred dollars), any carrier appointment fees, and your leads. We don't sell you training packages or "starter kits."
You can start part-time, and plenty of agents do while they keep a job. Just be realistic: part-time effort produces part-time results, and leads need to be called back quickly. If you can block consistent evening and weekend hours and protect them, it works. If your plan is "when I get around to it," it won't work.
This is a commission-based independent insurance agency model. You are paid on your own sales to real clients who buy real insurance policies from licensed carriers. Nobody makes money from you joining, and there is nothing to buy from us. Building a team is optional: if you choose to recruit and train agents, you earn an override on their production, which is how agencies in this industry have worked for decades. Some people call any structure with overrides an "MLM." We would rather explain exactly how it works and let you decide what to call it.
Anywhere with a reliable internet connection and a quiet place to take calls. Sales happen by phone and video, and there's no territory. You'll need a license in the states you sell into; we'll help you figure out which ones make sense as you grow.
No. Every lead you work is someone who requested information about mortgage protection or life insurance. You still have to pick up the phone and dial (a lot), and not everyone will remember filling out the form, but you're never calling a list of strangers who never asked.
A direct conversation with Sam about where you are, what you're looking for, and whether this is the right fit. There's no pitch.
Tell us about yourself, your licensing status, and what you want to build. Sam personally reviews every application.
